Per 2/5 WARM UP: Imagine a civilization called "Mickus Land" Based on what you know about me so far, what would be in each of the 8 features of MY civilization? Work with a partner.
Per 2/6 WARM UP: You need a partner. Pick opposites of something -- ex: cats and dogs. Use one of your "politely disagree with" sentences from the other day to have a conversation.
EXAMPLE:
Student 1: Cats are clearly the best animal because they are cuddly, soft, and purr.
Student 2: I respectfully disagree with you because ____________________.
